Oneonta City Hall is located at 202 3rd Avenue East and is open Monday thru Friday from 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM. The Mayor’s office is located within City Hall along with the City Manager, City Clerk, Public Works Director, Building Inspector, Business License and Permit Department. City Hall is located adjacent to the Municipal Court.

The following can be paid at City Hall if they occur within the city limits:

• Yard sale permits: $5 each day    
• Accident reports: $10 each copy
• Parking tickets
• Dog license: Due for renewal each year in January *Bring proof of Rabies vaccination* 
  • $5 if purchased before January 31st
  • $35 if purchased after January 31st

The City of Oneonta provides brush pick-up weekly. Leave your brush next to your driveway and we will pick it up for you as soon as possible. Please be sure you do not block the roadway.

We also pick up household items every Wednesday. To insure your items are picked up call City Hall at (205) 274-2150 and ask to be placed on the Wednesday pick up list.
